The bad news concerning the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V hit this week. Originally intended for Jan. 27, 2015, the release date for the PC version of the title slipped all the way to March 24, 2015.
On perhaps an intentionally related note, Rockstar Games announced a special pre-order offer for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V by way of the Rockstar Newswire. If you pre-order the game through the Rockstar Warehouse, you’ll get an extra game from a specific set for free at checkout.
Your choices? Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, Grand Theft Auto IV, Bully, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Manhunt, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Midnight Club II and Grand Theft Auto III. So, sure, a decent collection of titles, though most of them have gone for super cheap on PC in previous sales.
Here’s how it works. You’ll pre-order Grand Theft Auto V for $59.99. Once you checkout, 15 percent of that sale will be charged to you. That bit is non-refundable. Once the charge goes through, you get your “free game.” You’ll be charged the rest of the $59.99 upon release of GTAV.
So, any takers?
