When the OnePlus One was first it announced, it packed some of the best hardware available at the time, and we’re expecting an equally cutting edge follow-up from the Chinese startup. Now, a new rumor suggests the OnePlus Two could be a seriously impressive device indeed.
According to the GizChina’s anonymous sources, the OnePlus Two will sport the same 5.5-inch display from last year’s model, but bump the resolution up from 1080p to 2048 × 1536 pixels. The device could also come equipped with a 3300mAh battery (up from 3100mAh), 4GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 processor. OnePlus is also expected to slim down the design, presumably offering a thinner device while shaving down the bezels as much as possible.
Of course, this is just a rumor, and we’re not expecting the OnePlus Two to make an official appearance until later this year. Previous rumors have also suggested the company could opt for a smaller handset this time around, so we’re not ruling out that possibility either.
Hopefully these specs aren’t too far off, though at this point we’re guessing even OnePlus still isn’t sure exactly what the new phone will offer.
