To help celebrate the release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, Nintendo announced plans during this morning’s Nintendo Direct Presentation to add two new familiar faces to the Hyrule Warriors roster.
Yes, this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The short, chubby, ruppee hungry, green spandexed, selflish impy elf-man “thing” Tingle is going to be a playable character in Hyrule Warriors. Loathed by many, loved by many, this polarizing character will bring his enormous red balloon and beloved stash of ruppees into battle. Used in tandem, he will be able to smash enemies over the skull with his overflowing wallet.
And he even has a Kiss of Death special attack! Time to dig out Hyrule Warriors from my digital closet!
Young Link will also be a playable character in Hyrule Warriors with the new DLC, and his main weapons are the Kokiri Sword and the Fierce Deity Mask, allowing him to transform in battle.
Along with the two characters, this Majora’s Mask DLC package will come with a new adventure mode map and three costumes for other characters in the game. No price was set for the content yet, but it will be available on Feb. 5, one week before the Feb. 13 release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D.
