Razer made a huge splash at CES this year, particularly with its Forge TV set-top box. So in an effort to repay the positive feedback from fans and media, the company is holding a 50-percent off sale on all Razer gaming gear (except for systems, which will be just 30-percent off).

That’s a pretty hefty chunk off the company’s products, which are rarely on sale. Need a pair of headphones? 50-percent off is a significant discount. The only caveat is you have to be a participating member of Razer Insider, which you can sign up for here.

Razer says the 50-percent discount applies to all “gaming gear,” which I take to mean headphones, keyboards, mice and controllers. (Remember: systems will be 30-percent off.) Customers will be limited to just one item only, so don’t expect to go buck wild when the sale kicks off. Razer says to expect some intense traffic when it all goes live, though you’ll have a good 24 hours to pick up your item. Best be prepared before you visit the company’s site later today.

The 50-percent off discount extravaganza officially kicks off on Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. PST, and runs until Jan. 13 at 5:59 p.m. PST. Now’s the perfect time to jump on the company’s BlackWidow Ultimate, which usually retails for $129.99. Get ready, and happy buying.
