The annual video game speed-running event Awesome Games Done Quick ended this weekend well past its original goal.

Over the course of 160 live speed runs broadcast over Twitch, the event pulled in $1,555,428.61 from 29,630 donors at the time of this writing, including a donation from Humble Bundle of $200,556.24 and $40,000 from a couple anonymous donors. The AGDQ donation tracker has additional details.

The event showed a huge variety of games across just about every platform including games like Super Mario World, Blaster Master, Silent Hill and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind to name just a few of the 160 sessions. The highlight, though, was the second to last exhibition where Youtuber Runnerguy2849 completed the first three dungeons of The Legend of ZeldaThe Ocarina of Time entirely blindfolded.

The AGDQ team will have videos of all the speedruns online eventually but in the meantime a Youtube user has posted a copy of the blindfolded run.
