Ever since the firm announcement of January 27, 2015 for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, there’s been speculation and misrepresentation suggesting that Rockstar aimed to delay the game. That release date push back fervor gained a little steam over the last bit of December, too.
The Steam page for Grand Theft Auto V saw its release date change from January 27, 2015 to “Coming Soon” and now “Early 2015.” Those tweaks were, of course, noted by the community and assumed problematic for gamers looking to own the open world affair as soon as possible.
Rockstar has officially responded to questions regarding the apparent release date change. Consider all that hoopla denied. Here’s the official word from the company:
“GTAV will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time.”
Sounds good to me, then.
Grand Theft Auto V will hit the PC on time, it appears. Will you be picking it up? Is this going to be your first time with the game?
