LG Unveils New Ultra HD Curved TVs, One Flexes at the Touch of a Button

LG just announced several new high resolution televisions and displays during the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show. That includes a new 55-inch Ultra HD curved OLED panel that will make its way into TVs with 65-inch and 77-inch panels.

7 new OLED sets coming this year, curved and flat, and all feature 4K ultra HD resolution, and LG will make them available in 55, 65 and 77-inch screen sizes. New models include a 77-inch flexible screen that can be flat or curved with the touch of a button, which is pretty wild.

LG also introduced new thin Art Slim series televisions with 55-inch and 65-inch Ultra HD panels that will be used in its newest televisions this year, and a brand new 65-inch Ultra HD panel with a wider color gamut.

Finally, though we suspect this is going to be rather expensive, there’s a fresh 98-inch Quad Ultra HD panel with an insane 7680 x 4320-pixel resolution, which LG says it technically four times the resolution of Ultra HD.

We’re going to try to get up close with these TVs and bring you more information on the specific models, prices, launch dates and more, so stay tuned for additional coverage.
