The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Gorgeous Artwork Graces the SteelBook Covers

Someone help me find my jaw! It has dropped somewhere on the floor! I know I give pre-order bonuses and limited editions a lot of heckling, but these artworks that will grace the SteelBook covers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are just all kinds of amazing!

All six will be available to choose from when picking up your collector’s edition. The three different versions – No Man’s Land, Novigrad and Skelige – will feature one on the back and one on the front. CD Projekt RED turned to Studio Kxx and artist Krzysztof Domaradzki to turn out these wonderful pieces of work.

Seriously, I am blown away by the level of quality of these images, and this is coming from someone who takes quite a lot to impress.

Does that mean I will pony up the cash and purchase a premium edition of The Witcher 3? Probably not, because I will buy it digitally, and I have plenty of other ways I can use these images. At the same time, this is one special edition I can’t simply throw under the bus either and dismiss as useless swag. It has the stamp of approval.

Which is your favorite? I’m all about that dark and scary Skelige version. The Witcher 3 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 19.
