It’s been over a month since the Galaxy A5 first went on sale in China, and now the unibody metal smartphone is finally available for U.S. customers. The Galaxy A5 and A3 hit Expansys USA’s online store this week, where both devices are available unlocked in white.
The Galaxy A5 starts at $409.99 with 16GB of expandable storage and dual SIM card slots. It also packs a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, a 2300mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Samsung’s own software on top.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A3 starts at just $329.99, but only offers 8GB of storage with microSD support up to 64GB. It comes equipped with a 4.5-inch 960 x 540-pixel display, a Snapdragon 410 processor, a 1900mAh battery, an 8-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel secondary camera, and 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
Stock for both devices looks pretty limited on Expansys USA’s website, so if you’re dying to get your hands on the Galaxy A5 or A3 don’t wait too long. Then again, the Galaxy A7 is expected to make its debut next month with better specs and a bigger screen, so it might be worth waiting just a little bit longer for an even better smartphone.
