HTC Gallery App Gets Cloud-Based Gallery, Face Fusion Editor and More

HTC has updated its official Gallery app via Google Play to deliver a whole host of new features and improvements. The new release brings a cloud-based gallery, an awesome Face Fusion photo editor, the ability to tag your snaps with keywords, and more.

HTC Gallery is pre-installed on HTC devices with the┬áSense user interface, but HTC made the app available through Google Play earlier this year so that updates like this one can be quickly and easily distributed to users — without the need for big firmware updates.

And this particular release is a biggie. In addition to improvements that should enhance performance and stability, it delivers a new cloud-based gallery feature, which lets users connect their Facebook, Dropbox, Flickr, and Google Drive accounts and enjoy all the photos they’ve uploaded in one place.

There’s also a new photo editing feature called Face Fusion, which lets you take two photos of different people and combine them for hilariously cool effects. You can also tag your photos with keywords, then use the new tag view or tag search to find them. You’ll also be able to see and search tags pulled from Facebook and Flickr.

The cloud-based gallery is “coming soon in some regions,” HTC says, so not all will see it right away. But those in countries where HTC handsets are more popular shouldn’t have to wait too long for it.

To ensure you can enjoy this and all the other new features as quickly as possible, download the latest version of the HTC Gallery app from Google Play now via the source link below.
