Samsung’s Galaxy Alpha Now Available in Alligator Leather

The Galaxy Alpha is already one of the best-looking smartphones in Samsung’s lineup, but now the company is bringing that design to new heights. For a limited time the device is available with an alligator leather back cover, though this offer is only available from Samsung France.

Besides that one difference, it’s the same Galaxy Alpha, just with alligator leather replacing the usual plastic back. Otherwise you still get a 4.7-inch 720p display, an 1800mAh battery, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and Android 4.4.4 with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top.

The alligator leather comes in black, brown, red and turquoise. Personally, we prefer the understated black option, though that deep red looks nice too. The limited edition Galaxy Alpha variant is going for 649,00 € (roughly $790) upfront, while the original non-leather version is priced at 569,00 € ($690).
