Asus is set to announce the latest addition to its ZenFone lineup early next month at CES 2015, but we may already have a full picture of what the phone has to offer. The device passed through Bluetooth certification earlier this month, though only spotted recently, and the documentation reveals a full list of hardware for the upcoming mid-range handset.
It looks like the soon-to-be-announced ZenFone will pack a 4.5-inch 480 x 854-pixel display, a dual-core Intel processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2100mAh battery, 1GB of RAM and will run Android 4.4 with the company’s own ZenUI on top. Nothing too impressive here, though we’re guessing that means Asus will offer the new device at a pretty low price.
Last year, Asus unveiled three new smartphones at CES, but it looks like the company is cutting back its efforts in 2015. Then again, it’s possible this is just one of several devices ready to launch next month. We’ll be covering the entire show live from Las Vegas, so check back after the new year for all the official details on whatever Asus has up its sleeve.
