U.K. users of the new Moto X are finally getting their long-awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update, more than a month after it graced handsets in the U.S. The release brings Google’s Material Design makeover, as well as a whole bunch of new features and improvements.

As is often the case with big upgrades like this one, it’s rolling out in phases over-the-air, so not all will see it at the same time. Providing there are no problems, however, the vast majority should have received it within just a few days.

Don’t worry if you don’t have an update notification yet, then; you should still be running Lollipop in time for Christmas.

And what a great holiday gift it is! Moto X users get to enjoy all of Lollipop’s design changes and improvements the way Google intended them — without third-party interfaces and other tweaks. You can look forward to lock screen notifications, improved multitasking, and new features like Smart Lock.

Lollipop also makes major improvements to performance and battery life, so you can expect your Moto X to be snappier and longer lasting in between charges.

To search for this update manually, open up the Settings app, tap “About phone,” then tap “System updates.” If Lollipop is ready for your device, you’ll be given the option to download and install it. If it isn’t, just check back later.
