Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Hits Anroid

GTA Chinatown Wars

This one’s been a long time coming, hasn’t it? GTA: Chinatown Wars has finally made the jump over to Android, and it’s now available for Android devices and, of course, Kindle Fires.

Originally released for the Nintendo DS way back in 2009, GTA: Chinatown Wars went mobile on the iOS platform a year later in 2010. Here we are, four years after that, and Rockstar has finally released the game on Android platforms. Took them long enough, didn’t it?

This is a good GTA title, though I can’t speak for how it plays on touchscreen interfaces. I enjoyed it on the DS back in 2009, for whatever that’s worth, though it doesn’t feel like any other GTA I’ve played since the originals. It’s a top-down affair, after all.

GTA: Chinatown Wars is selling for $4.99 on Android devices. That’s the same price it currently moves for on iOS. Any takers?
