Hearthstone

Ready to take your Hearthstone addiction on the go, Android users? Blizzard has officially released their free-to-play card battling affair for Android tablets, joining the game’s already playable versions on computers and iPads.

Expect the same exact game you’d find on the other platforms, as Blizzard has achieved parity. The Android version also includes the Goblins vs. Gnomes expansion pack and a free Classic pack.

The press release that announced the game’s availability included a quote from Blizzard’s Mike Morhaime.

“Hearthstone’s intuitive interface and approachable design make it a perfect fit for tablets, and we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring players have a great experience on a wide range of Android devices…

…We’re excited to welcome Android players to the Hearthstone community, and we’re looking forward to bringing the game to even more mobile platforms—including phones—in the future.”

Blizzard is apparently still at work on the phone versions of Hearthstone. We’ll have more on that as it comes.
