We’re still not sure what to expect from HTC’s next big smartphone, but considering the company’s recent track record we’re looking forward to another great device. Now, a new leak claims to reveal the rumored HTC One M9‘s front glass cover, potentially confirming plans for a 5.2-inch handset.
Obtained by French tech blog NoWhereElse, the leaked cover glass allegedly measures 5.2-inch across its diagonal. That runs counter to previous reports which have claimed the device could offer a 5-inch or 5.5-inch display. For now, it’s tough to say how big the actual device will be, but today’s leaked photos make a pretty compelling case. Of course, there is one other possible explanation.
HTC may actually be planning to release multiple screen size options for the One M9, at least according to one report claiming the company could be working on an M9 Prime device as well. The Prime model could also offer cutting-edge hardware, and will allegedly launch early this year ahead of the regular M9. Hopefully we’ll learn more about these new phones soon, though for now it’s impossible to say exactly what the Taiwanese phone-maker has planned.
