OnePlus Two Specs Leak Out in New Report

When the OnePlus One first hit the market it offered some of the best specs around, but eight months later it’s starting to look a little dated. Thankfully, the Chinese startup is already working on a follow-up device, and a new report from MobileBurn suggests it could be another powerhouse handset.

According to one anonymous reseller, the OnePlus Two will come equipped with a Snapdragon 805 processor, which should be a solid upgrade over the Snapdragon 801 included with the original smartphone. It may also offer an improved 16-megapixel main camera (up from 13 megapixels), and a slightly bigger 3300mAh battery. The screen is expected to stick at 5.5-inches across the diagonal, though it’s possible it could jump from 1080p to a Quad HD resolution. Finally, the device’s baseline storage could jump from 16GB to 32GB.

Unfortunately, MobileBurn’s source also claims the OnePlus Two won’t launch until the third quarter of 2015, and notes that the price could jump by around $100 compared to this year’s model. Earlier leaks also suggest we could get new customization options and a few more surprises, though for now it’s impossible to know anything for sure.
