Rumor has it Apple is hard at work on a new 12.2-inch tablet called the iPad Pro, so when schematics for an “iPad Air Plus” leaked out over the weekend we assumed it was the same device. Now, one Apple fan has taken the latest alleged specs and created a mockup to demonstrate just how big the new iPad might be.
The new video shows the rumored iPad Pro next to the current iPad and iPhone lineup. We even see it alongside the only slightly larger 13-inch MacBook Pro. The mockup follows those leaked schematics pretty closely, which means it not only sports a massive screen but some huge bezels as well.
Under the hood the iPad Pro is expected to pack a next-generation A9 processor, and it may even feature four speakers along the top and bottom of the device. The new tablet should also be impressively thin, coming in at 7mm (that’s just 0.1mm thicker than the iPhone 6 Plus).
Recent rumors have suggested that Apple’s super-sized iPad could launch early next year, hitting stores sometime between April and June 2015.
