Nexus 9’s Official Keyboard Folio Goes on Sale in Google Play

Google’s official Nexus 9 Keyboard Folio is finally on sale in the Play Store, with a pretty hefty price tag of $129. The case attaches to your new tablet magnetically to provide you with physical keys for getting things done, and to protect your device from those inevitable scuffs and scratches.

The Keyboard Folio was leaked out long before the Nexus 9 got its official unveiling, and it has actually been listed on the Play Store for several weeks. But until now, it was simply “coming soon,” and early Nexus 9 adopters were unable to get their hands on it.

Now the wait is over, and the Keyboard Folio can be yours for $129. Google promises to ship your order within 1-2 business days, though that estimate could soon slip if the case is as popular as the tablet itself. Although, at that price, we don’t imagine too many will be rushing to buy one.

If you need a decent physical keyboard for your Nexus 9, however, this one could be worth the cash. Not only is it a perfect fit, but it offers two different viewing angles, a dedicated Google Search key, and up to five months of use from a single charge.

Will you be picking up a Keyboard Folio for your Nexus 9?
