Apple’s Two New Funny iPhone Ads Focus on Continuity, Gaming

Apple already released a handful of humorous TV ads for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus starring Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon, but the two newest ones may be our favorites so far. The latest videos focus on iPhone gaming and Apple’s new Continuity features while cramming in plenty of jokes.

In the first spot, titled “Gamers,” Timberlake and Fallon get pretty geeky while playing Vainglory, a new multi-player online battle arena game that takes advantage of the A8 chip in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Apple claims its processor is 25 percent faster than the A7 chip used in the iPhone 5s, while graphics performance should be improved by about 50 percent.

In the second ad, they demonstrate how to make phone calls on a MacBook or iPad thanks to Apple’s new Continuity software. Besides making phone calls, the new feature also lets you send SMS text messages from your laptop. There’s also the new Instant Hotspot option that lets you quickly connect to the Internet on your MacBook using your phone’s data plan, and that’s discussed in the commercial as well.

As always, Fallon and Timberlake don’t actually appear in these new ads. Instead, we simply see their hands and hear their voices. They’re actually really funny, and you can check them out below.
