Galaxy S5 Price Drops to Just $1 With Contract on Amazon

Earlier today, we learned that Galaxy S5 sales haven’t exactly lived up to Samsung’s expectations. Now, it looks like one retailer is already slashing prices for the flagship phone; Amazon is now offering the Galaxy S5 for just $1 on contract.

The new price applies to the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon models of the Galaxy S5. It doesn’t look like a T-Mobile variant is available on-contract through Amazon, though you can always pick up the S5 straight from the UnCarrier’s website for $0 down with a 24-month payment plan.

The Galaxy S5 may not be the hardware beast it was at launch—especially compared to newer devices like the Galaxy Note 4—but it’s still a solid smartphone. It packs a 5.1-inch 1080p display, a removable 2800mAh battery, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage with microSD support, a 16-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter and a water-resistant design.
