Apple will offer Black Friday deals this year on Nov. 28, and we now know what kind of deals you can expect if you plan to shop directly with the company. Apple isn’t specifically calling this a “Black Friday” deal and is instead marketing it as the “(RED) Special Shopping Day.” The promotion includes (RED) iTunes Gift Cards that will be given to customers who buy qualifying products on Nov. 28.
Those products include the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c and, unless you buy one of those phones with a $0-down carrier promotion, you’ll receive a $50 iTunes Gift Card bonus. The same promotion extends to purchases of the iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini, iPad Air 2 and iPad Air, though Apple said it’s limiting the deal to two $50 Gift Cards per household for each product category.
Additionally, you’ll find $100 Gift Cards with qualifying Mac computer purchases, and that extends to sales of the iMac, MacBook Air, iMac with Retina 5K display and MacBook Pro with Retina Display. You’ll also receive a $25 gift card with the purchase of an iPod touch or iPod nano, Apple TV or Beats headphones and speakers.
Apple said all purchases need to be made in a U.S. Apple Store location or through Apple’s U.S. Apple Store website to qualify.
