No Man’s Sky Wants to Do “Something Different” at PlayStation Experience

It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on No Man’s Sky. Indie developer Hello Games is heading to PlayStation Experience on Dec. 6, and it is planning a special event called “A Night Under No Man’s Sky.”

In a new video teasing the highly anticipated game’s appearance at the show, studio co-founder Sean Murra claims, “We’re also going to be doing something completely different. Something a little bit crazy—we’re calling it ‘A Night Under No Man’s Sky.'”

“It’s something different, something that hasn’t been done before. We hope you can join us and experience it in person.”

Fortunately, all No Man’s Sky really has to do to be “different” is simply exist considering it is far more original, imaginative, and exciting than anything else on the console scene at this moment. As for the show, I can only hope that it involves an IMAX screen, a planetarium, or some kind of magnificent display which takes those attending on a marvelous trip through its nearly-infinite universe.

I hadn’t considered attending PlayStation Experience, but now that I am hearing about No Man’s Sky showing up, I am jealous of those who get to go. It was definitely the deciding factor into what pushed me to get a PlayStation 4, and I am just chewing my lips off waiting to play it.

No Man’s Sky will release worldwide on the PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015. A release on the PC has also been confirmed with no set date.
