You can now watch Game of Thrones, Last Week Tonight, and True Detective on your Xbox One. HBO Go is finally available on Microsoft’s console.

The app is, of course, free. It requires an HBO subscription, but not an Xbox Live subscription.

The other requirement is that your provider has to support that platform connecting to HBO Go. Comcast, for example, doesn’t allow Roku streaming boxes to connect to the application. HBO Go on Xbox One is supported by Comcast, as well as providers like Time Warner, Verizon, and others.

As for the app itself, the biggest feature, aside from giving us one less reason to keep our Xbox 360s hooked up, is that favorite shows can now be pinned to your home screen. You won’t be able to watch Game of Thrones while you play Dragon Age: Inquisition yet, though, as the application doesn’t support snapping.

HBO Go for Xbox One is currently available in the U.S. Microsoft has not yet commented on when it might show up in other markets.
