T-Mobile on Wednesday introduced new low-rate international calling plans that should help families stay connected during the holidays.

First, beginning today, T-Mobile is offering a new option to Simple Choice customers that costs just $5 per month for the entire account and enables customers to place unlimited calls to landlines in more than 70 countries. T-Mobile specifically highlighted that this is for the entire T-Mobile account and not per line, though it caps the number of lines at ten per account.

Additionally, T-Mobile said customers can pay an additional $5, or $10 more each month total, for unlimited mobile-to-mobile calls in more than 30 countries. T-Mobile isn’t including Mexico, however, and will provide 1,000 minutes per month for calls placed there, with an overage of 4 cents a minute.

The new deals are available on T-Mobile’s site now, though you’ll need to sign up before the end of the year to take advantage of the promotion.
