The isometric puzzling side of Tomb Raider is an interesting one. Ron Duwell, one of our own gaming editors, has sworn by the Guardian of Light puzzler that came out a few years back. Now, The Temple of Osiris is set to (probably) rock his world again.
Today we have a lengthy look at the game’s puzzle mechanics. It’s a five minute video with a bit of narration from two developers. They’ll talk about the puzzles, of course, but they’ll also hit the cooperative play and some of the interesting new tools at the disposal of players.
The co-op genuinely looks fun. If and when Ron gets the game, I think this video has pushed me towards joining him in it on whatever platform he selects. That way, I can yell at him for how dumb he is as we all fall into a giant pit of spikes.
Ah, video games with friends, nothing like it.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is set to sell for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms on Dec. 9, 2014. Stay tuned for more.
