Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Livestream Scheduled for Thursday

by Ron Duwell | November 19, 2014November 19, 2014 4:30 pm PDT

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is one of the most exciting games launching in early 2015, and it looks to do the series proud by being its first single-player experience on the newest gaming consoles. As interesting as it looks, it is far from a traditional entry in the series, using action game mechanics with a blend of menu-driven RPG commands rather than the traditional “line-fighting”combat found in older games.

To clear up any confusion people might have about this title, Director Hajime Tabata will be hosting a livestream of the game and answer questions from the fans. If you are on the east coast, you might have to stay up past your bedtime, because all this is scheduled to go down at Thursday, Nov. 20 at 8:30 p.m. PST / 11:30 p.m. EST.

That makes it 1:30 p.m. out here in Japan. Tabata will also be discussing the characters, main story elements, and the world all this unfolds in. Fans can submit questions directly to Square Enix and it can be watch through the company’s official YouTube page.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17. It will come packed with a four hour demo of Final Fantasy XV.
