If you are one of the handful of gamers, like me, who has not yet had the chance to at least try Destiny, then now is a better time than ever. In partnership with Activision, Sony has just put up a free demo of one of the year’s biggest games.
Best of all, unlike the beta, if you play the demo, you’ll be able to bring your guardian into the main game if you ever decide to pick up the full thing. The demo works for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions, so all Sony fans are out of excuses for not yet having the chance to go hands on with it unless you plain old fashioned don’t want to… even for free.

I’ve had reservations about dropping 60 bucks on Destiny, but I am more than willing to spend some time with it for free. I’ve always been a fan of Bungie through Halo and Marathon, so it’s nice to play a little catch up with them on their latest product. Why did Sony and Activision have to release it during the week I have to review Dragon Age: Inquisition, though?
Well played, sticking it to EA like that, Activision. Sorry, but this demo will have to wait until next week for me.
