Target Updates Official App with Interactive Black Friday Maps

Black Friday is almost here, and Target wants to make sure you have the best possible shopping experience. On that note, the retail giant has pushed out an an update for its official Android and iOS apps with interactive maps through a new partnership with mapping startup Point Inside.

Target’s mobile app now features Black Friday store maps that will help guide you to all of the best deals. You can also pin specific items throughout the store to plan out your route before you visit the store. The app even includes a smart shopping list that helps you find specific items, which will link directly to he company’s new interactive maps for Black Friday and beyond.

Other new features include auto-complete typing for quick searches along with the usual bug fixes and improvements. For iOS, you’ll also get support for Apple Pay within the app. Finally, Target notes that opening the iPhone app between 6:00 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving day and 8:00 a.m. on Black Friday will reveal a special “easter egg.”
