ScreamRide Gets March Release Date on Xbox

Alright, lovers of chaos, destruction and, well, roller coasters… Frontier Developments and Microsoft Studios have announced a set of release dates for ScreamRide on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

I say “set” because we’ll see it in different territories on different days. Here’s the rundown on prices and launch timing from the Xbox Wire.

Releasing in-stores and digitally on March 3 in North and South America, March 5 in Asia and March 6 in Europe, ScreamRide will be $39.99 on Xbox One and $29.99 on Xbox 360.

ScreamRide looks pretty nuts. There’s a construction phase where you’ll build your park and roller coasters designed to terrify. Then you’ll get riders riding (and screaming, I assume). Finally, you’ll cause mass destruction. The trailer above gives a pretty good glimpse of what to expect, though the clip is not new.

This is a game that I didn’t really think I’d be all that excited to play. Yet, here I am, thinking about March of next year, getting ready to go all sorts of crazy with ridiculous coaster creations.

Does ScreamRide seem like something you’d like to dive into when it releases next Spring?
