Mass Effect 2

Ah, so this is why Sony thinks that EA Access isn’t a very good value. You’ll be able to play its older games through PlayStation Now instead!

PlayStation Blog has confirmed a handful of EA games will be available through its streaming program, including a certain someone’s favorite game of the previous generation, Mass Effect 2. Check out the full list below.

  • Mirror’s Edge
  • Mass Effect 2
  • Dead Space 3
  • NBA Jam On Fire Edition
  • Bejeweled 3

Obviously, Mass Effect 2 is the big fish of the pile, but Mirror’s Edge is also nothing to scoff at. If you haven’t played it yet, NBA Jam On Fire Edition is also a ton of fun, especially if you played the first NBA Jam back at the peak of its popularity in the early 90s.

Sony claims that each of these “can be rented for a week for about $1 / day,” but I’m not entirely sure how that compares to EA Access’ prices for these same games. Not that is matters, because EA Access is only on Xbox One. If you just have to stream EA games onto a PlayStation console, this is the only way to do it.
