LG G3 “Blue Steel” Shows its Face at Best Buy

The LG G3 is still one of the best smartphones available even six months after it first launched. Now, LG and Best Buy are rolling out a “Blue Steel” version of the metallic plastic handset.

Best Buy is offering the device on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint—sorry T-Mobile—for just $99 with a new two-year contract. That’s $100 less than the official subsidized price. The blue smartphone isn’t available to purchase just yet, but is listed as coming soon for all three carriers.

The LG G3’s hardware still holds up, even compared to the latest flagship phones. It packs a QHD 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 801 processor, a 3,000mAh battery and a 13-megapixel OIS camera. It also offers a pretty sleek design thanks to those ultra-thin bezels, though we do wish the back panel was made from actual metal and not that metallic polycarbonate.

If you’re interested in the Blue Steel LG G3 it should be available in the very near future from Best Buy for a pretty great price. You won’t regret picking up LG’s flagship phone, though it might be worth considering a few newer options as well.
