Leaked Stream Shows Grand Theft Auto V’s First Person Mode

by Joey Davidson | November 13, 2014November 13, 2014 8:30 am PDT

While I’m almost certain this video was recorded on a potato smeared entirely with petroleum jelly, we have an early look at uncut first person gameplay for Grand Theft Auto V.

Some intrepid gamer scored a copy early and took to Twitch to broadcast it.

It was then that another gamer captured their screen while viewing Twitch in order to upload the whole thing to YouTube. We’re looking at an uploaded copy of a stream of the original game, so don’t let this user’s bold “1080P” claims in the video’s title fool you. It’s 1080p, yes, but the p stands for potato.

1080 potato.

If the video winds up getting pulled by Rockstar, we apologize. We’ll be sure to capture some of our own first person gameplay in Grand Theft Auto V when our copy arrives next week. The game releases on November 18th, exactly. The PC version is currently set for January 27th, 2015.

Stay tuned for more.
