Asus ZenWatch Hits Google Play, But You Still Can’t Buy One

The Asus ZenWatch was supposed to be launch at Best Buy earlier this week, though at the moment it’s still listed as unavailable on the retail giant’s website. Now, the stylish Android Wear watch has popped up on Google Play as well, but for now this wearable device remains out of reach.

We already had a chance to try out the ZenWatch briefly earlier this year and came away impressed. It’s a sleek little device with a classic design and a killer price tag at $199. We’re looking forward to spending even more time with the Asus smartwatch, but for now it’s unclear exactly when that might happen.

We’ll keep an eye on both Google Play and Best Buy’s websites and let you know as soon as either site says you can actually order a ZenWatch. Until then there are plenty of other Android Wear options out there, though there’s definitely something special about this one.
