The Nexus 6 rollout has been painfully slow so far, but it may get a big boost next week from Best Buy. Google’s new flagship phone will be available from the consumer electronics chain starting next Friday, at least according to a leaked internal screenshot obtained by tech blog QbKing77.
The leaked images only mention a $649 option, suggesting Best Buy may be limited to the 32GB variant. The device is also listed as the “AT&T Nexus 6,” so it may be locked to that carrier out of the box. Finally, one screenshot reveals that home delivery and “special orders” won’t be offered for this device, meaning you’ll have to visit the store next Friday in person and hope for the best.
Starting today, the Nexus 6 is available for pre-order from AT&T, while Sprint is set to start selling the new phone later this week on Nov. 14. Meanwhile, T-Mobile has delayed its launch until next Wednesday, and of course there’s always Google Play, which should be restocking the Nexus 6 at some point today.
