HTC One M8 for Windows Phone Now Available on T-Mobile

The HTC One M8 for Windows Phone has very quietly made its debut on T-Mobile, almost three months after the carrier confirmed it was coming. The device is priced at $585.60, or you can pay nothing upfront for 24 monthly payments of $24.40.

When you think of Windows Phone handsets, you likely think of Microsoft’s popular Lumia lineup. But the One M8 proves that terrific Windows Phone devices are available from other smartphone makers, too.

It’s essentially the same handset as the critically-acclaimed Android-powered One M8, packing the same 5-inch 1080p display, the same quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and HTC’s trademark Duo Camera, which combines a 4-megapixel UltraPixel sensor with a 5-megapixel focusing sensor.

The device also has front-facing BoomSound speakers, a microSD card slot, 32GB of storage as standard, and 2GB of RAM. The only difference, then, is its software — this model is running Windows Phone 8.1 with Cortana, Microsoft’s virtual assistant.

If you’ve been waiting to bag the One M8 for Windows Phone on T-Mobile, you can either buy the device outright for $585.60, or you can spread that cost out over 24 months for $24.40 a month on T-Mobile’s Simple Choice Plan.
