Jailbreakers have been hard at work hacking Apple’s latest mobile operating system for a while now, and it looks like all that effort has finally paid off. The latest untethered iOS 8 jailbreak from Pangu is apparently “stable enough” to use, according to Cydia creator Jay Freeman.
If you are waiting to jailbreak your iOS 8.0-8.1 device until things are "stable enough": we now seem to be ready! ;P http://t.co/XRUU74p7i8

The new Pangu jailbreak works for iOS 8 and iOS 8.1, and should be fine on any Apple device running the new operating system. You’ll need a Windows PC to actually install the jailbreak, but because it’s untethered you’ll only need to connect the device once to install and you’re good to go. A Mac version is also in the works and should be available soon.
Also we are already working on Mac version. It may come out in couple of days. Pls wait a bit more time.

It would seem everything is in place to confidently jailbreak your new iPhone, including support for the Cydia app store and a ringing endorsement from a respected jailbreaker. Of course, that doesn’t mean you still won’t run into bugs or malware, and it’s also worth remembering that jailbreaking your device voids its warranty with Apple.
If that’s not an issue, the iOS 8 jailbreak link is available just below, but don’t say we didn’t warn you if something goes wrong.
