I knew that the minute I took the Humble Bundle out of my bookmarks folder that something would pop up that  everyone would want! So, you’re welcome!

To celebrate its first year in existence, the Humble Store is giving away a present to all of its subscribers. For the next 24 hours, you can pick up a free copy of 4A Games’ survival horror shooter Metro 2033. I’ve never gotten around to playing it, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about both it and its sequel Metro: Last Light.

Both games have the reputation of being AAA quality games made on an extremely tight budget.

I’ve never said no to a free video game, so maybe it’s time to get acquainted. Or maybe it’s time to throw it on the ol’ Steam backlog. Either way, check it out if you like.
