Motorola just announced the Moto Maxx, an international version of the recently revealed DROID Turbo that launched last week as a Verizon exclusive. The new device is available now in Brazil and headed to Mexico and other parts of Latin America in the near future.
Just like the DROID Turbo, the Moto Maxx offers cutting edge specs and a tough if somewhat bulky design. It comes equipped with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 805 processor and a 3900mAh battery with fast charging. It’s also available with that same ballistic nylon back panel and offers a near-stock Android experience with some of Motorola’s own useful software on top.
For now it looks like the Moto Maxx will be limited to Latin America, and there’s no word on whether it will be available in the U.S. or other markets any time soon. Motorola hasn’t published final press images of the Moto Maxx, but it’s basically identical to the DROID Turbo, so check out our gallery of that phone below.
