Here’s How to Secure Your Google Inbox Invitation

When Google first announced Inbox, scoring an invite to try the new app was almost impossible. By now it’s a bit easier to find an invitation, but if you’re still coming up short we have some good news. Google just announced that anyone who emails the company at inbox@google.com between 3 and 4 p.m. Pacific time today is guaranteed to get an invitation for the new app by 5 p.m Pacific.

In case you missed last week’s announcement, Inbox is a fresh take on Gmail that helps manage your email for you with a handful of clever tricks. Inbox organizes your messages into categories and highlights the ones it thinks are important along with specific information. You can also pin important emails or snooze the ones you want to put off for later.

We’ve spent some time with the new app and we’re already hooked. So if you haven’t tried Inbox already now’s your change to give it a whirl.
