Still checking the date and eagerly awaiting the PlayStation Plus version of DriveClub? It’s been promised for a long time now, and it was delayed indefinitely once the game launched to horrific server problems and an online experience that’s still lacking for real buyers.
DriveClub was supposed to be offered in two forms at launch; gamers would be able to buy the full game, while PS Plus subscribers would have access to a less complete though free version. The free version launched, was pulled and then delayed. Gamers have been disgruntled ever since.
Folks expected Sony to release the PS Plus version of DriveClub this month, though it’s not in the lineup. PlayStation of Europe took to a blog update to write about the game’s current status.
It’s not looking good.
Before we get into the details on November’s new PS Plus games, we understand many of you are waiting for DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition to be added to the Instant Game Collection, and we apologise that the game is not yet ready to launch. Sony and Evolution Studios are “committed” to bringing gamers the PS Plus version of DriveClub, but they can’t speak to exactly how long fans will have to wait. This is one debacle that’s starting to get a little ridiculous.
Are you upset about the way Sony’s handled DriveClub so far? Or, are you in the camp of users who have been satisfied with their purchase?
