More Nexus 6 Stock Expected To Hit Google Play on Wednesday

When Google’s Nexus 6 went up for pre-order, supply ran dry in a matter of seconds; if you blinked, you probably missed the opportunity to get your hands-on the Lollipop-equipped device. But there’s some good news for anyone hoping to buy the device in time for the holidays: more units will be in stock this Wednesday, and every Wednesday after that.

Google on Tuesday updated its Nexus 6 listing to reflect the change, saying it will “work to make more devices available each Wednesday.” The company doesn’t say what time you’ll be able to buy the handset, so your best bet would be to check the site periodically throughout the day to see if units are available. Last week stock ran out incredibly quick, so it might be luck more than anything that lands you Google’s new device.

If you do manage to pick one up before Dec. 31, which is approaching faster than you think, you still get six free months of unlimited music on Google Play, though restrictions apply. As a refresher, the Nexus 6 sports a 5.96-inch QHD display, 13-megapixel camera with OIS, 3220mAh battery and a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 chip. It’s the device (most) all Android phones are drooling over right now, so make all your friends jealous by picking one up tomorrow.

You can get the 32GB Nexus 6 for $649, or $699 for the 64GB model. Google mentions that the device will also be available through AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular later this month, so if you miss your chance to get one unlocked from Google, you’ll have some alternative options.
