Resogun Blasting Towards the PS Vita

One of the best games to launch for the PlayStation 4 when the console released was a tiny indie shooter made by XDev Studio Europe. That game was Resogun, and it arrived for free thanks to PlayStation Plus and the temporary free subscriptions to the service that all fresh PlayStation owners had.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, the studio announced some fresh DLC for Halloween and Movember. It’s all simple and silly stuff, and you can check out the mustache wearing humans and crazy skeleton people if you check the link in the source below.

The big news from that post actually comes from its comment section. XDev Studio’s James Hawkins responded to a comment regarding a potential handheld port. In that response, Hawkins announced Resogun for PS Vita.

Keep watching this space, the VITA version is coming and is looking, sounding and most importantly, playing great!

Well, talk about unceremonious announcements.

Whatever the case may be regarding how the game was announced, hearing news that Resogun is bound for the PS Vita is outstanding. Now, if it’s a Cross-Buy game to boot, I absolutely know what I’ll be playing non-stop once it hits my fancy portable.
