Amazon Black Friday

Halloween has come and gone, and these days that means it’s time to start that holiday shopping.

It used to be that the day after Thanksgiving in the U.S. was the unofficial start to holiday shopping, but as the years wear on it has started moving further and further forward, and it now seems that Halloween is the dam that stops the flood. As we all know, Trick or Treaters were at ours houses last night, so that means all bets are off and it’s time to get out those credit cards and to start shopping for the winter holidays.

Amazon is wasting no time and has already launched its “Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week” sales. This is the more general sales area with everything from socks to jewelry included, and everything in-between. A large selection of televisions have already been marked down, so if you’re in the market, now is the time to start your comparison shopping. And what is a Black Friday shopping season without killer deals on video games?

Also launching today is the “Electronics Holiday Gift Guide.” This area isn’t so much focused on deals, but helping you choose the right gift for different types of tech users in your life. It’s broken down into areas such as “The Gamer,” The Music Enthusiast,” “The Photographer” and so on. This could come in quite handy shopping for those hard to buy for people on your list, or just finding something for yourself that you didn’t even know existed. And if someone you know on your list is a brand loyalist, there are also areas for shopping for Amazon, Bose, Samsung and more.

Amazon is sure to launch many more sales in the coming weeks, but if you’re itching to get started, now is definitely the time to do so.
