Valkyria Chronicles

PC gamers, this is a call to arms! Valkyria Chronicles has gone from a forgotten but beloved gem to the latest SEGA game to get a PC release almost overnight! With the game already confirmed for release, SEGA has announced further specs, options, and a very reasonable price of $19.99.

What does this version do that the PlayStation 3 version doesn’t? First of all, it can have its controls completely remapped to a mouse and keyboard. If that’s your thing, by all means enjoy.

SEGA also confirmed that the game would run in 720p or 1080p depending on the size of your monitor, and it will also be locked at a steady 60fps.

Processor: Intel Core2 Duo @ 2.8GHz (or equivalent)
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 (or equivalent)
Hard Drive: 25 GB available space

Again, Valkyria Chronicles will be released for the PC on Nov. 11 for $19.99. It’s a personal favorite of mine which is sadly not playable on the PlayStation 4, making this the most definitive and modern version out there. I’d like to double-dip, but I am region-locked out of SEGA’s Japanese Steam library. Shame, because this is a game I will always throw money at.

What’s your next big surprise, SEGA? A Nintendo 3DS version of Skies of Arcadia?
