OnePlus One just opened up pre-orders for the One, allowing customers to put in an order for the smartphone without having to seek out an invite. The system opened up at 11:00 a.m. Eastern and, originally, OnePlus said interested parties would be able to order the device during a one-hour time slot. We have good news, that time slot has now been expanded.
Pre-orders have been extended from 1 hour to 3 hours. Don't worry, your One is near. 🙂

The company said on Twitter that customers can now order the device during a three-hour time slot, which means you have until 2:00 p.m. Eastern to place your order. If you’ve been following along, the company had also allowed would-be customers to configure their device and their shopping cart ahead of time, so hopefully you’ll be able to jump in-and-out of the system rather quickly.
The OnePlus One is one of our favorite Android smartphones currently available, but you’ll probably need to act quickly. OnePlus ran out of 20,000 invites is just under an hour the last time it held a promotion, which shows there’s a huge demand for its low-cost but high-end smartphone.
