LG G Watch R Heading to AT&T

by Todd Haselton | October 27, 2014October 27, 2014 2:00 pm PDT

AT&T on Monday confirmed it will soon offer one of the best looking Android Wear smartwatches, the LG G Watch R. We first had a chance to check out the G Watch R in person during the IFA trade show in Berlin; it offers a round face, similar to the Moto 360, but looks even more premium and traditional.

LG recently confirmed that the G Watch R will hit retail, in addition to the Google Play Store, sometime in early November. The South Korea-based company hasn’t revealed pricing, however, though we suspect it will fall in the $200 – $250 range.

Unfortunately, AT&T also didn’t provide any insight into how much the G Watch R will cost, or even when it will offer the new smartwatch. Instead, it’s only promising that consumers will be able to find it through AT&T in some fashion, whether that’s online, in stores, or both. We suspect the G Watch R will hit other carriers, too.
