Motorola and Verizon are gearing up to announce the upcoming DROID Turbo this Tuesday, but there’s still no word on when the device will actually be released. Now a new report from Twitter tipster @MotoFirmware claims the DROID Turbo could hit the market later in the week.
The Droid Turbo will launch on October 30th per our source. Also retail stores already have them in stock. Thank you for the catch

MotoFirmware is pretty new to the leaking game, but it’s already built up a solid reputation after sharing photos of the DROID Turbo packaging over the weekend. If this latest leak is correct, the DROID Turbo could be in our hands by Thursday, and it might be available in stores even sooner.
We’ve been following DROID Turbo rumors for a while now, and we can’t wait to see the final product. The new smartphone is expected to offer 5.2-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 21-megapixel camera and a 3900mAh battery. It’s also likely to run Android 4.4.4 out of the box with some of Motorola’s own software on top, and come in black or red color options with a Turbo Charger for quickly recharging the device.
We’ll be covering the DROID Turbo launch live from New York tomorrow morning so stay tuned for all the news as it breaks.
