Here’s Halo 3 in 1080p at 60fps

When Halo: The Master Chief Collection launches on Nov. 11, it will include Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4. The original and sequel are fully remastered, but what about the third and fourth games?

Today, thanks to an exclusive on IGN, we have footage from Halo 3. It comes in at 1080p and 60fps, and it looks pretty darn good.

With 40 seconds left in the clip, the footage switches from campaign stuff to multiplayer. It even happens with that now iconic “Slayer” voice and music change.

I’ve always enjoyed Halo, but I’ll admit that my excitement for it waned with the release of Halo 4. The Master Chief Collection, though, has my attention. I’m excited to dive back into these games, and they look fantastic.

In case you’re curious, we have a massive pile of screenshots and art for the collection below.
