Late last week Google put up a landing page for its Nexus 6, providing all the information prospective buyers will need to know about the exciting handset. It has a 5.96-inch QHD display, Android 5.0 Lollipop, a 3220mAh battery, a 13-megapixel camera and more. Exciting! But one very important piece of information was missing: when the device will be available to purchase.
A nice new graphic added to the page says consumers will be able to pre-order the Nexus 6 starting on Oct. 29, which is just over a week away. For those on the fence about Google’s new handset, you still have plenty of time to make a decision. The Nexus 6 has high-end specs, though many people seem hesitant due to the device’s size. There are many other terrific big phones out there with stock (or near-stock) Android, however, so you have a ton of great options.
If you are set on the Nexus 6, you can pre-order the device directly through Google Play on Wednesday, Oct. 29, and choose between 32GB and 64GB configurations. The device comes in either midnight blue or cloud white, and starts at $649; shipping estimates still say “coming soon,” but that will likely be updated as soon as pre-orders go live.
